How To Study Effectively!

Tips To Study Effectively
Studying is about patience, understanding and trial and error. As you think about studying methods that work for you, count on the tips given below.

My Mom has this saying - "Consistency is the key."
I believe it. For studying better or to master something, you have to be consistent throughout your journey.

So here are some tips to help you study productively and effectively.

#1 Tip - Pay attention In Class
Paying attention in class can really be helpful. If you understand every topic from your teacher, there are more chances that you know how she/he is expecting your paper, thus more chances of increased marks. One additional reason is that you won't have to study the same topic twice because you would have understood it the first time. Next time you would just have to revise it.

#2 Tip - Keep your to-do list with you always
Keep your to-do list with you always so that whenever your teacher gives you some assignment, homework you can write it down immediately, and not forget it.

#3 Tip - Make Flashcards

Flashcards are really helpful to learn any type of question.
Cut a paper into 8 rectangles, write a question on one side, and answer on the other. Ask someone to ask you the questions and see if you can answer those.

#4 Tip - Take the role of a teacher
Teach what you have learned to others. Research shows that you will understand and completely learn a topic if you teach it to someone else. This will help you figure out if you have totally understood it. You can teach it to anyone, I mean literally, anyone, it can be your mom or friends or it can also be any soft toy, or you can simply stand in front of a mirror and teach yourself.

#5 Tip - Take practice tests

Taking practice tests can help you analyze if you have understood everything. If you haven't understood any topic, you can again read that. You can use old exam papers for practising as there are chances that some questions from those papers come in your upcoming exam.

#6 Tip - Don't overlearn
If you have attempted every question correctly from your flashcards, you can feel a sense of happiness or be tempted to study more. At this point, remember that lowered motivation returns from overleaning. So take breaks.

#7 Tip - Try learning from videos
The study states if you listen to something from someone, there are more chances of you remembering it.

BONUS - Don't focus on one topic for too long.

If you never feel tired by constantly focusing on history pages or memorizing math formulas consider yourself lucky. But if you feel tired, then you have to understand that it is happening because you are focusing on one topic for too long and you have to switch between different topics.

So, that's it!
Some of these topics are really important for studying effectively, so consider them.
