                        Review - Harry Potter And The Cursed Child 

I just recently read Harry Potter and the cursed child book. This is the only Harry Potter book on which any movie is not made in fact; it is a play. My Rating For This Book Would Be 7.5/10

The book according to me is based on bringing Cedric Diggory back using a time-turner in the Ministry of Magic. (But Albus and Scorpios had no idea that how risky and dangerous it was to travel in time.)

I loved the idea of drawing a potter - Weasley family tree and a Harry Potter Timeline on the last pages of the book. I also liked that there was a biography of JK. Rowling, John Tiffany and Jack Thorne. I also love that how much affection and love Harry has for his parents and Ginny is always there to calm him down. I also liked the line Ron said “ Just to say - I didn’t know much of it so can’t take responsibility – and I’m pretty sure my kids had nothing to do with it – but if this lot are standing up here, then so am I.” This shows how much the lot love each other. Though Delphi was Voldemort’s daughter and was evil and all but the fact that she was not an empty can like her father, she knew what love is and she can feel it is pretty nice!

I didn’t like the fact that there are only 319 pages in the book, cause as for me I like books with a minimum of 500 pages. I also felt that this book was a bit predictable. At first, I was excited, but then while reading my excitement was fading a bit. This book was not as good as the others.😞

And lastly, I would like to tell some facts about this book which I came to know while reading it,

1)      It is not written by Jk. Rowling, it is based on the Harry Potter series written by her, but it is a play by Jack Thorne( This tells why is the book only 319 pages).

2)     There are a new Harry, Hermione and Ron.

3)      Albus Severus Potter was sorted in Slytherin.

4)      Harry Potters greatest fear is revealed – Pigeons😂

Similar books: Harry Potter series.

So, I would recommend this book for readers who like to read books with adventures and mysteries.
