Time Management Tips
Time Management Tips
So, here I'm sharing with you some Time Management Tips
#1 Tip - Set achievable goals and prioritize your tasks.
If You Think you are trying to achieve too much, try using 4D's of Time Management: Do, Defer, Delegate, and Delete. This method can help you prioritize your tasks by putting them in 4 different groups:
⦁ Do - Tasks That Are Important And Urgent
⦁ Defer - Tasks That Are Important But Not Urgent
⦁ Delegate - Tasks That Are Urgent But Not Important
⦁ Delete - Tasks that are neither urgent nor important.
This method will help you prioritize your tasks and help you decide what tasks you should put in Delegate, or Delete.
#2 Tip - Now That You Know Which Task Will Go In Which Section, You Can Start Making Your To-Do List With 5 Sections.
⦁ 1st Section - This group will be for the ' DO ' Group of 4D's.
⦁ 2nd Section - This group will be for the ' DEFER ' Group of 4D's.
⦁ 3rd Section - This group will be for the ' DELEGATE ' Group of 4D's.
⦁ 4th Section - This group will be for the ' DELETE ' Group of 4D's.
⦁ 5th Section - You can use this group for the " DONE" tasks. You will put the tasks that you have accomplished in this section.
#3 Tip - Take advantage of Your Golden Hours.
Do you know what time of the day you do your most productive work? Knowing This will help you complete your tasks fast and with full productivity. After you've found your golden hours you'll be able to plan out your weeks accordingly. Schedule difficult or highly involved tasks for peak productivity times.#4 Tip - Use the Swiss cheese method.
It's easy to feel overburdened by large tasks. When you don't know where to start, overwhelm can lead to procrastination or loss of focus.
The Swiss Cheese Method, states the best way to overcome this is to break your tasks into smaller tasks. By completing a single, small task that is actually a part of a bigger task, you'll make the project less daunting and more likely to be finished on time.
#5 Tip - Put A " One Day Earlier " Due Date To " Important " Tasks.
Many people believe they work best under the pressure of a due date and will put off work until the day before it's due. However, for most this isn't actually the case. Tasks often take more time than initially thought making it difficult to actually complete tasks on time.
So, I recommend setting a Due Date For any IMPORTANT task before its initial due date. This Will help you to complete the task on time, actually before time.
#6 Tip - Take Breaks between Tasks
You Can Use Pomodoro Technique - This task helps you get focused
#7 Tip - Use time management apps.
The best way to manage your time is to know where you are wasting your time in the first place.
Time Management apps can help you determine your progress and help you figure out your procrastination pattern.
#8 Tip - Have A Great Time - No matter what
The techniques above don’t need a big-time commitment and you can put them in place today. You need not take every tip from above into account. See what works best for you and what doesn’t.
Thank You!! Hope It's Helpful!
